I am humbled. Of course as every sports fan knows, their actions have a direct impact on the success of their team. My bashing of the Big 10, OSU, the rest of college football, brought karmic retribution for my west coast hubris in the form of the Mountain West conference and ugh, Arizona. Thanks to Dorrell, UCLA is about three years away from average. Bring on the basketball season.
The only saving grace, Notre Dame's continuing mediocrity (and getting their team arrested on drinking charges - yes ND has higher standards than the rest of us) and the deafening silence I hear from Columbus, et tu Brutae (Buckeye)? Did anyone tell Todd Boekman to watch out for that bus that Tressell threw him under - true class from "The Vest". How is this for disrespect from little Troy - "Going into the fourth quarter, we had them right where we wanted them," Troy safety Tavares Williams said. "I think they knew it too." I know this just cost UCLA another 30 pt. beat down but I couldn't resist.
